New Indie Punk Music: Eternal Summers

Oh how I love writing about new albums! I personally hate singles. To me all they are just fodder; you can really love one song, but the band might suck and just got lucky. Albums are the true test of a band’s mettle. So I love hearing new albums; I can get a real sense of their style and how good they truly are. Eternal Summers is about to release an album, “Correct Behavior”, and it’s pretty sweet.
Eternal Summers falls into closer to the punk side of indie music, and that’s good, because indie music is oversaturated with sob songs and slow jams. Eternal Summers’ new album “Correct Behavior” is full of that raw punk energy without losing the heartwarming and tear jerking melodies and harmonies indie is so popular for. Songs range from pop punk to slow jam and even metal, yet every song demands your attention and keeps you wanting more. The band’s musical versatility mixes beautifully with their frontwoman, Nicole’s, smooth and comforting voice. A perfect balance of energy and emotion, “Correct Behavior” is a well crafted and thought out album and a testament to Eternal Summers’ talent and potential.
Eternal Summers releases “Correct Behavior” July 24th, so keep a look out. Until then, have a listen to Eternal Summers’ debut album, “Silver”. Here’s a track from that beauty called “Disciplinarian”. Check them out and get some new indie punk in your life.
