Let’s take a trip across the pond, shall we? We’ll stop by England; London to be precise, and meet up with something of a local enigma. I’m talking about Harry Oakwood, of course. Harry doesn’t get out much, but he has commissioned a band to meet us.
Harry Oakwood (Millionaire) is a new folk band that is more than worth your consideration. They have sweet, soothing melodies to calm the soul and lyrics that will dig deep in your thoughts, exposing memories, emotions, and ideas long since forgotten. With shades of Bob Dylan and The Beatles, this London based band brings everything you could want out of new folk music.
Harry must indeed be pleased with his investment now that Harry Oakwood (Millionaire) has just released their self-titled debut EP. Harry is a shrewd business man, seeing as how he’s a millionaire and all, so if this band is worth his time, you should probably have a listen. Brilliant band – saw them at Somerset House last week and they were fab. I love the EP but they sound even better live. Would really recommend seeing them if you can.
