New Psychedelic Rock Music: The Chaw

Sometimes it feels like psychedelic rock died with Jim Morrison. It’s hard to find bands today that can take up his mantel, to be perfectly honest it’s entirely possible nobody ever will. Well The Chaw might have something to say about that. While I wouldn’t say they are the next Doors, they certainly are a psychedelic rock powerhouse waiting to happen.
The Chaw have all the classic psychedelic qualities someone look for in new psychedelic rock band: ambient guitars, deep, driving bass, steady, almost hypnotic drums, and a deep voiced, soulful singer. The Chaw would do Jim proud if he could hear them now.
