New pop artist SphynxDon’t you feel like sometimes new pop music really isn’t living up to your expectations? Well here comes Sphynx to restore your faith. These guys have some really catchy melodies mixed with funky bass grooves and pumping drums that will keep you dancing all night. Falling somewhere between MGMT and The Killers, Sphynx is your pop fix.

Sphynx are getting big in the festival scene, having played SXSW and gearing up for Bunbury Festival and Chaos in Tejas this summer where they will be rubbing elbows with Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie, and Best Coast. If you’re looking for something new to dance to at your next party (or in your car as you sit in traffic), give these guys a listen.

Sphynx released an EP called Human Beastlast year and are currently working on their full length debut album. Here is their latest single Sha Dynasty to get moving to.

Seeds's veteran of press, Dave has covered music, culture, and news for a variety of publications. He has a genre-defying editorial perspective, covering everything from J-Pop to Norwegian Death Metal.
