New Nu Metal Music: EarlyRise

Who said nu metal was dead? Well, it might not be as popular as it used to be, but every once in a while you get a solid, talented band in that scene. Coming all the way from Tel Aviv, Israel is EarlyRise. This group has all the components to a good nu metal band, heavy riffs, tight licks, pounding drums, and a sexy front-woman.
Try to imagine the guitars from early Ill Niño (thank you Marc Rizzo) and a poppier version of Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil. If you know either of those artists and can imagine that mix with all the qualifiers, well then you get EarlyRise.
EarlyRise’s debut album, “What If”, came out in 2011. Here’s “Face Me” off of “What If”, a track that demonstrates the nasty guitar playing and the beautiful vocals EarlyRise is capable of.

they are NOT nu metal, they are too good to be a nu metal band.
They’re good, but the acoustic songs are just incredible
