New Latin Music: Audio Trip

New latin music Audio Trip imageI don’t know about the rest of you guys, but I’ve noticed that this blog is really lacking in new Latin music. I’ve made it my mission to find a new Latin band to write about and finally today my quest has ended. My prize? Audio Trip.

These guys are fantastic and bring everything I look for in good Latin rock: slick, sexy guitar, danceable beats, melodic singing, some horns thrown in for good measure, and, of course, Spanish lyrics. These guys mix R&B, reggae, rock, and Latin music to perfection. The infectious singing of Freddy Ochoa pulls you in and the band gets your body moving.

Audio Trip is a band with a heart too, putting in the effort wherever possible to help their home community of Del Rio, Texas.

Audio Trip released a five track CD, called “Audio Trippin” in early 2010. Here is a track of theirs that I have fallen in love with; I know you will too, Carolina.
