New Latin Music: Audio Trip

I don’t know about the rest of you guys, but I’ve noticed that this blog is really lacking in new Latin music. I’ve made it my mission to find a new Latin band to write about and finally today my quest has ended. My prize? Audio Trip.
These guys are fantastic and bring everything I look for in good Latin rock: slick, sexy guitar, danceable beats, melodic singing, some horns thrown in for good measure, and, of course, Spanish lyrics. These guys mix R&B, reggae, rock, and Latin music to perfection. The infectious singing of Freddy Ochoa pulls you in and the band gets your body moving.
Audio Trip is a band with a heart too, putting in the effort wherever possible to help their home community of Del Rio, Texas.
Audio Trip released a five track CD, called “Audio Trippin” in early 2010. Here is a track of theirs that I have fallen in love with; I know you will too, “Carolina”.
