New fuzz rock band AbatisWho doesn’t love some good new fuzz rock? It’s the perfect balance between melodic and heavy tunes; it sends energy through your entire body. So to pump some of that raw energy through your body today check out Abatis.

Abatis have been compared to The Black Keys and Queens of the Stone Age. With shades of The Foo Fighters and Clutch, these guys have all the components to make a truly brilliant fuzz rock band. They have the heavy riffs, fuzzy effects, pounding drums, crunching bass lines, and the perfect mix of melodic and bluesy singing that make a truly great fuzz rock band.

Abatis have a self-titled EP and the Now You’re Paying for SleepEP out now and released their debut LP, Electric Dead, last year. These guys really know how to rock; check out So Hard to Reach off of their self-titled EP and see for yourself. It’ll get you moving.

Seeds's veteran of press, Dave has covered music, culture, and news for a variety of publications. He has a genre-defying editorial perspective, covering everything from J-Pop to Norwegian Death Metal.

All of their releases are really really good, and I think the “Now You’re Paying For Sleep” EP is available for a free download.
