Often those artists in the acoustic singer/songwriting genre are very talented musicians who rely on their passion to grab listeners. Philip Cohen brings the vocal versatility, compositional prowess, and lyrical poetry that one expects from an acoustic singer/songwriter, but he also brings raw energy that surges through his guitar and into your earphones.

Complete with a drummer and cellist, Philip Cohen and his group bring a variety of sounds that all come together brilliantly to produce some powerful and entertaining tunes. Philip Cohen isn’t just a gifted musician though; he is also a former military officer and founder of Modern Soldier Poet, Inc.
