R.I.P. Adam Yauch A.K.A. MCA of the Beastie Boys

Beastie Boys MC Adam Yauch, also known as MCA, passed away earlier today due to cancer.  He was 47 years old.

Yauch and the Beastie Boys released several classic hip-hop albums in the 1980s and 1990s including Licensed to Ill and Paul’s Boutique and continued to make new music well into the 2000s.  Yauch also directed several Beastie Boys music videos under the pseudonym Nathaniel Hornblower.  Check out the Beastie Boys’s official website for a full obituary.
